System Configuration - Telnet Programs
|
- Overview
-
Instructions presented here, though possibly applicable in general terms
to other software, are primarily meant to facilitate the installation
and configuration of software available at BRAMA.
Before proceeding make sure that you have
installed fonts & keyboard drivers.
The following telnet shareware programs are obtainable from
Simtelnet. SimpTerm
and Netterm are recommended over Trumpet Telnet and
Windows 95 Telnet; of the former two are very robust with
SimpTerm being simple, while Netterm having a great
deal of flexiblity.
Trumpet Telnet which comes bundled with Trumpet Winsock
software and the Windows 95/NT Telnet both tend to be flawed.

These pages in their conception owe a great deal to the work of
Matvey Palchuk's
Russification of Macintosh and
Zenon Feszczak's
Ukrainianization of Macintosh pages.
Much thanks to them.
