Philadelphia to host Ukrainian stage and screen star Bohdan Stupka
Philadelphia's Ukrainian Cultural Center to host the National Akademic Drama Theatre of Kyiv
with Ukrainian super-star of stage and screen BOHDAN STUPKA in the internationally renowned
musical comedy "The Inspector General" based on the famous works of M. Gogol.
On stage with the legendary Bohdan Stupka, in the title role of the Inspector is Bohdan Stupka's son Ostap Stupka with a cast of over thirty actors and dancers.
The fast-paced comedy will be staged on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 7:00 PM at the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center at 700 Cedar Rd, Jenkintown PA, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Tickets range from $25. - 40. which include a "Meet the Artists" reception in the Gallery following the show.
The production is part of a week-long October tour of the U.S. with shows in New York, Washington, N.J.and Philadelphia.
