Shevchenko Scientific Society Library Catalog
Welcome!
The Shevchenko Scientific Society is the oldest Ukrainian academy
of arts and sciences whose activities have been the mainstay of
Ukrainian culture for the last 120 years. The American offices of
the Society are headquartered in New York City. In addition to
offices and lecture halls, the Society boasts a specialized
library and archives focused on Ukraine and the Ukrainian Diaspora.
The goals of the collections are to gather and preserve publications
and resource materials from various sectors of Ukrainian culture.
The catalog may be searched by author, title, and subject. All subjects
deal with Ukrainica unless stated otherwise. The library (non-circulating) is open to researchers Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm, and every last Saturday of the month from 2 to 5 PM.
