Dear Mike,

I have eaten at Mimino's. The quality was between OK and Good, but the price went through the roof. Now I am from Europe and come from a family of restaurant people and dare say the the quality price balance is totally wrong. Not to metion the fact that you can follow the results of the French soccer competition if you are "lucky".

Chateau de Fleur is quite OK for good coffee and some nice pastries, but the salads are just too nondescript. Western prices for sure. And... and... of course several video screens so you are kept up to date about any hit song. But defenitely a good place to sit!

Rostick absolutely wanted me to have a taste of Mr.Snack. Beats any McDonald I tried in Amsterdam. Ahum... to be honest that were only two... Years ago... and then I lost my confidence in them because of the weak milkshakes they offered. Wasn't much better when I was in Upstate New York, 2 years ago, but... your mileage may vary.

Pay attention to the fact that there are two kinds of borscht. The Russian variety and the Ukranian one. I had the best Russian in Nepal of all places and the Ukranian one in Dnepropetrovsk. Shall publish the name of that restaurant. Very good and the proprietress is an absolute darling!!! Am at work, don't have adress here. They even have a separate room for a small group!

Sincerely,
Hans
