: documents in English, if I remember you story well. So guys if you just stay friendly but adamant, ther is a chance that you don't have to pay. Signing documents you can not read is to nobody's liking. Hope you don't mind adding this little extra JDS

: : Dan,

: : They fined me for 80 hrn about 3 weeks ago. I didn't have to pay, because I didn't have that amount of grivnja's anymore and they finaly believed me when I told them I didn't know that I had to register.

: : JDS

: : : An official fine of 85 Hr. If they try to get more out of you, it is pure extortion.

: : : - Dan

: : : : I am myself from Zaporozhye, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. But if you are going to stay in Ukraine for more that 3 days, you will have to get a registration. Ask the person who's invited you about it. He/she should know. If you are going to be staing at hotels all the time, keep all the little papers they give you. One of them is a registration paper.
: : : : So if militia man asks you about registration show him the paper with the registration for the whole period of your stay in Ukraine. Otherwise they might make you pay a 200$ fine.
