What about India? In 50 years the main superpowers - China and India - will control most of the world economy, with most other countries choosing one or the other side. The U.S. will be supplying grain to India, and Russia - timber and natural gas to China, which will have colonized much of Siberia. By this time China will have adopted a phonetic alphabet, and India will have become the IT capital of the world.
