georgia-i have not travelled to voronezh, but to other cities out of kyiv by train. use the "search" feature on this travel page and you will find some good information about train travel in ukraine. fwiw-you may want to consider buying your whole compartment for safety and privacy. on the other hand, if you are looking to visit, trains are great for parties, sharing food, etc. a few tips--bring plenty hygiene items such as wet wipes, antibac hand gel, washcloth and towel. also bring plenty of bottled water and snacks, food is not served (except for hot tea). i would suggest very comfortable clothing that you could travel and sleep in. the bathrooms are very dirty and very basic. you are not allowed to use them when the train is stopped, only moving! my room had 4 bunks and we were provided with clean sheets for about $2. there are lights and a lock on the door. i really enjoyed the train, it was not at all like i had feared! main thing-keep an open mind and see it as another learning experience in a really awesome country. have fun!
