Hi Dimitry,
I really believe Ukraine is a safer country than the US, but probably less so than say the UK. I think the people who are expressing the most fear are Americans, Europeans seem much less paranoid. It's unfortunate that American culture has become so reactionary, hard to believe it was the same country where the people rode wagons across a continent and battled with natives who were agile warriors. Much changes, nations rise and fall....
