Your arguments are not based on facts. It is not a fact that "If the countries of the west drop the Visa restrictions half of the Ukrainian population will move out of the country", it's your assumption. Could you provide any historical evidence when half of country population migrated out of country?? I guess, you cannot. So, you are basically overstating the problem.
Also, instead of visa restrictions, labor restrictions sound more reasonable. If a foreigner come to your counrty, who is not allowed to work or to recieve social security, then why would you worry about such foreigner? He can only be a tourist, which means additional money into your country. If a foreigner works illegaly, then that is what the government should fight. But, actually, should the government really fight migration? Everyone agrees free market is beneficial, free trade is beneficial. Then, why do we forget about that when we are talking about labor market? Free labor market is also socially beneficial. If you were born in a rich country should it make you better of or worse of compare to the other people in this world? Your skills, your knowledge, this are the only things that should make you better of in a honest world.
