I would be interested in any feedback from British visitors to the Ukraine and Russia who found true love in the former Soviet Union which turns into a permanent relationship.
My work in the UK requires UK/MOD security clearence at SC level and wondered whether any Brits have had problems getting SC Clearence after becoming involved with their Eastern european partners.
My opinion is - it should not - as the Cold War ended long ago. But on the other hand the US and the UK still spy on Russia and of course Russian agents are still active in the west.
Perhaps Ukraine is regarded as nuetral in the post Cold War period. But on the other hand it was part of the Soviet Union and might still be regarded with suspicion by the US and UK ??
