I don't remember but my wife insists that there is a small "American Mountain" in the Gidropark in Kiev. It is fun, the beach is very nice, although I don't know if it is advisable to bathe in the river. I read, in my first book about Ukraine (about 5 years ago) that bathing in the Dnieper River in the Kiev area is not recommended for foreigners as it may still contain some radiation... Maybe someone could update this info???
We like to go there and have pic nics with wine and all, watch people and the boats, frolic on the sand, play freezbee, badmington, etc...
