well..there's nothing to worry about at all...the doctors are ours..they behave the same way as at any hospital. BTW she's likely to have the med exam right at the hospital where I had it (Oil Industry in Kiev). I saw many many people there who were immigrating to Canada. actually that was kinda funny experience. we arrived there at 8 am (as scheduled), the doctors gathered there by 10 am..then they were drinking coffee..then tea..then started working. all you will go through is lungs ex-rays, blood test (they check ONLY for TSD like AIDS and Siphillis - that's why you can have your breakfast - it can't influence such things :) and then just a nurse - she puts down your height and weight, oyur vaccinations. and then a doctor who looks at listens to your heart, asks several questions about previous deseases..though he can't check your answers. everythign takes about 40 min..that's it.
P.S. I was nervous too..we got results the same day at 2pm.
