Dear all, I know their has been much discusion about the political changes brought on by the so called Orange Revolution. But I would pleased to know whether this will bring in any sweeping material changes in Ukraines everyday life.
Namely:
1. Will Lada's be quickly replaced by western cars if Yushenko is President. I'm thinking of the Police Lada's and its association with the old Soviet Union.
1 a) Could Bodie & Doyle - remember The Professionals. Outrun any Ukrainian Police Lada in their 1970's Ford Capri.
2. Will the fuel guzzling environmentally unfriendly old Kamaz trucks disappear from Ukrainian roads.
3. Will the infamous Ukrainian pot holes be filled in and ( wait for it !! ) a regular road maintenance program implimented.
4. Will Ukrainian men be changing their Puritan black leather jackets and shoes for casual jackets and training pumps.
