I read lots of different information about buying apartments in ukraine.They are becoming to overpriced!! As it was mentioned on this board before it is better to buy some land and build a house.There is land to be bought 20 mins drive from the main street of kiev for $10,000 for 600 sq metres.30 minutes drive the land is much less.Foreigners can buy land in Ukraine.I must say it is easy to exchange contracts on the land but getting the land act from the kiev administration is another matter!You are not the real owner of the land until you get that act.They are still making it difficult for foreigners but it is possibleThe figure of $60,000 mseidner wrote for building a house is right and that would build you a great one.If you organise the builders yourself you could build one for $30,000.On these figures it is great because where else can you buy a new house on 600sq metres of land 20 minutes drive from the main street of a capital city for $40,000
