After arriving at the rail station in a city in Ukraine, how difficult is it to find a flat on the spot? I have heard that there are people with signs at the rail stations looking for people to rent flats.
I have found some nice websites for flats in Crimea/Krym, but I am still looking for places to stay in L'viv, Kiev, and Odessa.
I don't like the idea of not having some sort of reservation, but we don't want to stay in hotels either. We are three people and we would like to all sleep in the same room and vicinity for the sake of safety. In order to do this in a hotel, we would have to get a suite, which are quite expensive. I'm not sure why they don't let us hire a double or twin room for three people, and just wheel in a cot or something. Moreover, my brother likes sleeping on the floor, but the hotels don't allow three in a room.
Please advise me, I've only another day to take care of this matter. Worse comes to worse, I will have to go the hotel route.
