When I'm in Kiev, I cash my travelers checks at the Export/Import Bank (247-8070, 247-8045 or 247-8082; 03150, Kiev, Ylitsa Antonovicha 127) I am also told it can be done at Western Union/X-Change Points in Kiev (044-221-7731 or 227-7733 or 219-1472; Ploshcha Peremohy 1), Lviv, Ternopil, Uzherorod, Odesa, Yalta, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi.

The Ex/Im Bank in Kiev takes about 20 minutes to cash checks and charges a 2% commission. You will need your passport. The office is closed each day between 1 and 2.

I would like to find a place in Kiev that charges a lower commission. If anyone knows of such a place, please post it.
