: : Speaking about Ukrainian food, does anyone on this board knows a recipe for vegetarian borshch? My mother used to make it with prunes and mushrooms but unfortunately, I lost the recipe. I remember she used to say that this soup tasted better the second day as the flavours married giving a unigue richness to the soup. Another name for it was "cold borshch". It is the best vegetarian dish I ever tasted in my life!
