I had a similar experience Tamara. I was expecting to pack on a few extra pounds when visiting my fiance for 3 weeks but actually wound up dropping 15! I was in Odessa in early June, and the fruits and vegetables were simply incredible compared to what I have grown up on here in the US. My personal favorite were the strawberries. Literally melted in your mouth and were incredibly naturally sweet. My tastebuds must have thought they died and went to heaven during the time I was in Odessa between the natural grown items and Tanya's cooking.
