I'm interested to know what people think of Ukrainian cuisine. I think North Americans have been conditioned to fear fat in food. Slavic cooking is notoriously high in fat. Mmmm sour cream everywhere and lotsa fried food. How have you dealt with that when you travelled there? Did you avoid it or embrace it?
Webmaster, I do hope that discussing food in Ukraine falls into the travel and culture category and will be allowed!
