I am a 45 yo first generation American. My parents were born in Ukraine and immigrated to US 50 years ago. Last year I took my mother back to Ukraine for her first time since 1941. Reading this board was a big help in planning the trip and knowing what to expect. I discovered nine first cousins living over the entire eastern part of the country, from Sumy to Donbas to Crimea. My father was from western Ukraine and may have some family in Poland.
My question to everyone on the board is about multiple entry visas. Is it possible to get a multiple entry visa for say a 3-5 year period for someone like me. I would like to make multiple trips to visit family. My mother is now a US citizen but was born in Ukraine and I have a blood aunt and uncle plus nine first cousins in the country. If anyone has any experiences or information about the requirements they could share I would be very interested in hearing about it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
