: Hi all,

: I'm sorry this is off topic, if anyone has any idea for a better place to post this please let me know, this is the only Ukraine related website I know and Love.

: While in Ukraine recently I bought a Kyivstar phone and before I left I gave it to a friend as a gift. Ever since I left I've been trying to send SMS messages to him and others throught the Kyivstar website (www.kyivstar.net) but I keep on getting an error message that the four digit code you must fill out on the bottom is incorrect (everytime I fill out the code that appears to the left in green).

: Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

: Thanks in advance...

: Mike

: I also left a mobile over there for a friend - on the Kyivstar network - and had trouble, after the first month with texts - I am on 02 and it appears that 02 do not have an agreement with Kyvistar - friend unable to send any texts to me in the UK - so when over there at New Year changed over to UMC - now no trouble at all. Kyvistar were also deducting money (on Pay as you Go)ad lib from the balance!

Only problem is that UMC offered a Jubilee Package with very cheap texts - now prices have rocketed! However the service is reliable.
