when buying a place in Lviv it does not play a role whether you are Ukrainian, American or German.
As long as you are able to read Ukrainian. Go and buy the newspaper/journal called "Vash Mahazyn", there you will find hundreds of adds with prices etc. Surely, when phoning people up, you will very rarely get the owner, it is allways some agent, but still.
When I bought, I got a good price. So some research buy studying adds and everything will be O.K.
