My wife and I have stayed several times in Alex's flats - you can expect: attractive rates, large & well appointed Euro-standard suites with reliable amenities (one can grow weary of cold water showers in some other facilities!), full kitchen, washer/dryer, secure premises, and reliable service including airport pickup/dropoff. Also: internet access is relatively simple - at least the Desyatinaya Street apartment has US style phone jack, one can get a prepaid internet access card at the local Pochta and plug in. On prior trips I had stayed at hotels, and suffered ruinous rates, insouciant abuse (oops, "service") at the grand old socialist-realist hotel you-know-what on Kreschatyk. My comments are unsolicited - I recall nervously trying to get a reference the first time I braved the flat-for-rent alternative, so I thought I'd post comments.
