I know this feeling too, and I don't even have family there! I have been may times, and sooner or later I feel the need to go back, despite the inconveniences of life there. Usually I go only to Kiev, but I also visited Odessa, Yalta, Kharkov and Simferopol in the past. Lviv is on my list for the future, I heard it's a pretty place with nice nature around, is that so?
: I just called my family in Ukraine to wish them Merry Christmas. They're gathered together around a table laden with food and bottles. "When are you coming back for a visit?", they're asking. They start asking me this question about one week after I've returned home from the last visit.
: I keep thinking that I'd like to take a different sort of vacation, stay in a hotel, dine in restaurants, have unlimited hot running water, a bit of luxury maybe. Paris, maybe. But, noooo, now I'm inquiring into ticket prices to Lviv. What is it with Ukraine? It makes me mental when I'm there, but I love it, it's like a crazy carousel. I can't stay away.
: Does anyone else feel this way?
