I was just saying what I saw most of the times. Myself I never used them. Probably the guys (not one!) wearing old type (chineese-type, bizaar-type) money-belts really were nuts or just wanted to save money on better ones. :)
But believe me - many of tourists wear thick purses on the belley, digital cam in hands...
It was just my observations.
