The train is much more comfortable and interesting than the bus - and it's still cheap.
Train 234D goes on even dates from Chisinau 17:36 to Chernovtsy 06:35 next day.
Train 236L goes on uneven dates from Chernovtsy 14:42 to Chisinau 04:06 next day.
The train fare Chisinau - Chernovtsy is around US$15-25 one-way in 4-bed slewpeing compartment.
