LOT - Polish Airlines - also fly Warszawa-Lviv, 6 or 7 days a week, actually. I agree with Dan that coming in via Kyiv offers more flexibility, but taking the overnight train back and forth does eat away at least 24 hours off your stay - and the ride in itself can hardly be called a tourist attraction. So, unless you have business in Kyiv, too, or are simply curious to see this wonderful city, I'd go with LOT anytime, it's a reliable, no-nonsense and modern outfit.
: From what I can tell, it appears that ALL international flights to Lviv (airport code LWO) come through Warsaw, Poland. The only carriers I could confirm are Lufthansa and Air Ukraine. I tried Austrian, Swissair, British Air, and Air France - all of which fly into and out of Kyiv - but they apparently do not service Lviv.
: You could always fly into Kyiv and then take a domestic flight to Lviv. It may afford you more options for getting in and out of Ukraine. In fact, one very nice option is to fly into Kyiv and then take a special overnight train to Lviv. If you take the train car for the Grand Hotel (Lviv-based), you will be treated to some real first-class comfort, by any standard.
: I hope this helps,

: : Could anybody tell me please: from which Western & Central European towns are there flights to L'viv?
