I didn't put any presents down on my claims form. You only need to list items you want to take out when you leave. i.e. laptop, rolex, cameras, cd's & dvd's, if these expensive items are not listed on your form, you may have to pay taxes on them when you leave.
So, I didn't pay any taxes on any of the presents I brought with me.
