The beaches all looked very clean and I was told that they are very nice in the summer, this is especially true about the main beach Arcadia. I don't know if there is any nude swimming can't help you there. The water seemed very nice of course it was to cold when I was there but I was told that it is very pleasant in the summer. My girlfriend spends a lot of time at the beach tere in the summer swimming so I would think the water is just fine.
