A train will be pretty good if you take 2-bed room in car called Spalny Vagon (CB-in Russian). It's always pretty clean and with no strangers in it. Friend of mine from Texas always prefere to use a train because he likes to see people and try to communicate with them. If you'll take 2-bed room you will have a nice opportunity to speak with your friend at least 15-17 hours and nobody will bother you. :-)

: I am visit a friend of mine in Kyiv right now. We are planning a trip to Yalta. As far as I know this means that we either fly or take a train from Kyiv to Simferopol and arrange other transportation from there.
