Stud, Hans and Smiley are right. When I went to Ukr. I took $100 in small bills and it was plenty. There were ATM's virtually everywhere, and for only a two percent fee.You could get grivna or $$. I was amused at one thing: I took twenty or so two dollar bills to use as tips. To my suprise nobody would assume they were real! When my cab driver dropped us off at Borispil airport for the trip home I gave the cabbie one as a tip and he handed it back! He thought it was our joke on him!
