If I were you, I would watch my butt in Lugansk. Lot of scammers. The economy is poor and there a lot of jobless people. Most streets are poorly lit and tourists are easy targets for locals. They are aware that tourists carry a lot of money. Keep all your money and passport in a money belt and about $30-$40 in your front pocket. I would advise you to carry only a few valuables which you think are absolutely necessary. Stay off the streets at night time. Just use common sense. For more general travel information just log on to the RJ Tours site, which has some invaluable information.
