Hello out there in Ukraine land,

My husband is going to Kiev on business, from San Jose, California. SInce I am 50% Ukranian I would love to accompany him on this particular trip. We have a baby who will be almost one year old when we go to Kiev. Various people tell me "are you sure you want to take your baby THERE?" as if Kiev and Ukraine are too scarey and dangerous.

ANY ADVICE on traveling with a baby to Kiev? Crime, health, safety, etc. Our son does have all his vaccines up to date, etc. and is healthy. This would be the first time he is traveling to a foreign country (visiting his roots).
