There are ,many trains a day.

The cost of a ticket is about 50UAH (10USD) plus 1USD for sheets if you travel in a 2 nd class sleeper with four beds.

The train service is good apart from the condition of the Toilets. You can pay double that for first class - the main difference is that there is only two beds per compartment.

Train Travel is safe and fun.

You dont need to book you will most likely get a ticket at the station or the booking offive near the University.

If you want to save time you can try and find someone that will purchase the ticket for you in advance. Most travel agents that have contacts in Kiev can assit here.
