I have heard that it is possible. However, the ATM's I have used in Kiev and Odessa never offered this option. I could only get hgryna. FYI, my American bank charges me $1 each time I use an ATM in Ukraine. The bank I use in Kiev additionally charges 1 hgryna per use. I used the Export/Import Bank ATM machine on Derybosovskaya Street in Odessa and there was no charge from the Ukrainian side of the transaction. Also, the exchange rate I got at the Ex/Im Bank was better than that available anywhere else in Odessa.
