Once you know their lowest published fare for the time period you wish to travel, then you can *sometimes* call them directly and get that fare for the time period you wish to travel. I know that has worked for many people with Travelocity and LOT Polish Airlines.

Good Luck,

: have looked at the travelocity possibilities
: to no avail, any other ideas?
: : I've looked at travelocity.com & cheaptickets.com (for September). Problem I seem to find is it shows all these low air-fares, but when I click on dates there are either no flights offerd or no seats, until I get into the $1,200.00 and up range... I think I may call a local travel agency, just to see what advice if any they have.

: : : I found that one tonight at Travelocity.com using Aeroflot Russian Airlines. LOT Polish Airlines was a bit more than $800. Both are R/T from LAX to KBP (Kyiv Boryspil).

: : : You might also try Priceline.com.

: : : June and July are the 'high' travel season for Europe, so it will be a bit of a challenge for you to find cheap flights - but possible if you're persistent.

: : : : Does anyone know of a cheap flight ($700 or less) from los angeles to kiev end june or begin july?
: : : : tx
