You should examine the motive and theory of Soviet union,communist leaders lived in high standart. People lived low standart.They over produced high caliber weapons,and produced lower quality utilities and lack of them.Union isolated people with iron curtain from the reality and the real world.People were and are highly educated,but no knowledge of life in free world. Economy started to fail union boke up.Now you have 15 independed republics,people thought we are free no more problems.Well freedom is not cheap: it requiers hard work and good knowledgable thinking about and for the future of the country and most important "Unity of People"But many people took advantage of the freedom and still are,for their own gain (Corruption) so the honest people are and will suffer for a long time.Ifin when people that live in the country, object to the constution of the country and trying to help some other country(in this case Russia) to gain foothold their (Ukraine) country.What do you think will happen in the future.As much as I know about people or maybe as little,I know one thing.I do not care how many ethnic groups there are in the country,if minority group gets their way,plus support from powerful country,it spels trouble.If it not the language then it will be something new,else all the time.No matter how many ethnic groups live in the country and how many languages they speak. Unity of the people and support for the country,at hard times no ends or buts,in the future that country will be one of the great countries.Just like most European,and good old United States.
