: If you don't like the empires(like the former USSR),i.e. the states, where the ordirnary people are oppressed, you shouldn't defend the situation in nowadays Ukraine.Either you create a mono-ethnical state(a half of present Ukraine) and so you are welcome to impose the Ukrainian rules over there, either ALL ETHNIC GROUPS should have equal rights

May I ask if minority should overrule the majority then?

> and as far as Russian is widely spoken,it must be accepted as the second official language. Ukraine seriously depend on Russian gas, oil, technologies, etc and with newly elected president the situation can get changed to worse.

That pressuring is absolutely useless. There are other sources of oil and gas.

:The life level in Ukraine,by the way,is 2- 2,5 times lower, than in Russia itself.

I don't think the gap is that much. Russia's life level is a bit higher, but only because of more natural resources. But those aren't endless. Both Russia and Ukraine are in crisis and to deny that Russia has the same problems is to deny the reality.

: You probably live abroad without knowing the whole truth.

I wasn't living abroad until 1998, and I still think Anonimous is right.

:And the people of Crimea and Donbass hate the ones in the Western Ukraine.

Hmm,how strange, I don't seem to notice it in Canada between people that came two or less years ago. Normal people don't see much of a difference. Nazis also said that Germans hated Jews, it was true only with the Nazis themselves.

: The country is weak,

True, but getting more dependent on Russia only weakens it more.

:dependable even more, than being a Soviet republic,

It's a nonsence.

:fragile and with a high crime rate. Here you go with your MOVA...

Russia is also weak, dependable, more fragile than any other country in the region and has a high crime rate, yet you don't blame YAZYK. How come?
