See, anthropologically Ukrainians as independent entity does not exist, same as there is no "pure" nation or race in the World. Over centuries we as a nation absorbed or assimilated many peoples. We changed them they changed us. For example, where did Scythians go. No where. They are part of us, because they mixed with Slavs who came here later or may already lived on this territory. It was documented that in 12th century "black hats" or "chorni klobuky", nomadic tribe, settled in the Central Ukraine. Those cases we know. Also, we know about Goths, Tatars, Jews etc. But, I am sure there were other people that mingled with the inhabitants of this country that we call Ukraine. To say that we are Slavs to say nothing. We speak Slavic language, that is probably only common thing that unites us with those ancient Slavic tribes that settled between Dniester and Dnieper rivers several thousand years ago.
