If they disappear, so what? So many peoples have disappeared in the course of human history. Does it hurt?

Every people which desappear, make us poorest. Make the culture of Humanity more plain. All speaking in American English, eating hamburgers, drinking Cola and seing Rambo...

I don't understand why such small nations as Basque try to save and preserve its language, has a huge Euskaltsandia, an Academy of Basque language, every year make diccionaries (they have Russian-Basque diccionary, and I'm sure there will be Ukrainian-Basque diccionary), make films, write books, support schools, make a lot of cultural events, give the possibility to all people to study Basque, support Basque courses in Poland, USA, etc,. etc,. etc,. why you, as Ukrainian, don't want preserve yours? WHY?
