: : I've got your point Lesia.
: : Still, when I am talking about discrimination I am taking about Ukrainians. Ukrainians keep Russian alive. And if you don't like speaking Russian - fine with me. Of course, government workers must know Ukrainian. About preserving culture. What is culture? Is culture of Kyyiv Rus' our culture? Yes? Then, how come you do not speak language of the Kyyiv princes? Someone I know said: "I want to live in MY country. In my country people speak Ukrainian only". What is our country? Is it something in our heads, or is it something we have in reality, like it or not? Just because you have certain ideas it does not mean it must be so. After all, who said that if you speak slogans you are correct? "So let seat and wait when it die?!" Yeah? So what? Culture of any nation is constantly transforming. Irish speak English. They are still Irish. If they disappear, so what? So many peoples have disappeared in the course of human history. Does it hurt? What is a tradition and what is a hiccup of the good old times?
: : Anyway, all this discussion is irrelevant. You will keep your opinion, I'll keep mine.
: : For your information, Lesia: Ukraine consists of five geographical areas. They are: Western, Eastern, Northern, Southern and, Central. I am the Southerner.
: : Thanks for your time. Sorry if I was too tough on you.
: : Best regards, Habelok.
: : PS. Somebody, not you, said that Ukrainian Russians are not as good citizens as ethnic Ukrainians. I protest it! They are the same Ukrainian citizens! I hate nazi like talk!!! It make me puke!
: Sorry, but AT THIS MOMENT I understand why somebody say that Russians aren't good citizens. If you don't want to be respetful with my RIGHT TO SPEAK IN MY COUNTRY MY LANGUAGE, why I must be so respectful and tolerant to speak with you in your language?????????? Thanks the God, Ukrainian isn't Irish and isn't in this awful level as Irish. Or you want to have Belfast in our land? So try to kill my language and my culture. Please, note that it is a reaction to you unrespectful words!
Excuse me, your words put me histerical. I just want to know WHY you (or the people who don't want speak Ukrainian in the GOVERNAMENTAL offices) don't want to respect my rights? Why I must beg this rights, absolutely normal in every country?
