Russia wanted to be a Third Rome as you all may know. Without Ukraine Russia cannot be empire. It didn't take much effort for them to send millions of Ukrainian people to Siberia and resettle Russians to Ukraine. You probably think that only Stalin did this. You are wrong. Peter the Terrible, his predecessors and successors all did this. More than that, all these czars and later bolsheviks destroyed all Ukrainian, killed people by millions, especially those educated. And later you are told your language is worthless, you don't have your own culture, you are ridiculed because you want to be what you are. Now we have what we have. The good method would be to send all Russians where they belong in order to "obustroit' Rossiyu". However, we are not Asiatics, how can we do this? It's not our tradition, Mongolo-Tatar, it's theirs. Now we see how hundred of thousands people from Russia are moving to Ukraine to live permanently. Not a single of them will learn the language of their new country. They simply will lament how their human rights are curtailed if you mention them to learn Ukrainian. Why do I have to know Russian better then some Russians do? If they can't learn another Slavic language and use it as they can it means "yim klepky ne hvataye". What do you think? Slava Ukraini!
