that IS what you said, because you just reiterated what you said at first in your statement above. I know of people who make such remarks on purpose, and I am aware of their reasons. And I don't take it to heart as much as you think I do.

The reason I brought up the ineptitude of good-ol' stepan is to help reaffirm his intentions. That was not by any means meant to infer that it gives me pleasure to fight with him.
Finally,

Same thing here. This was just my conclusion to the point mentioned above. How you concluded that "it gives me pleasure because one doesn't need to answer intelligently" is still a mystery to me.
As for your conclusion, I can't see how you conclude that I am scandalous. I certainly am not. But don't worry: apologies granted! :-)
