So what's your point? The language situation is undergoing a continuous change, and many of the Russian speakers are learning the Ukrainian language, which is the official language of Ukraine. Nobody is discriminating against Russian speakers in Ukraine. But the overall numbers of Russian speakers and their supposed influence in Ukraine is vastly exaggerated, and represents the perception created prior to Ukrainian independence. It's time to start learining and start respecting the Ukrainian culture. This has already been largely achieved in Latvia and Lithuania.
