Oh, boy, how RIGHT you are! I was reading many of the current discussions on this discussion board. It simply DISGUSTS me HOW MANY ADULTS (seemingly) are advocating Russian as an official language or tolerating it. HOW HYPOCRITICAL! We always complain about being oppressed and so on, and now that we have a chance to shoot back, all this fervor just subsides. WHAT THE HELL, you guys! Ever since Andriy Boholyubskiy had been ousted from Kyyiv earlier in this millenium, Russia and Russians have hated us and wanted to eliminate us. Generations of tsars and Russian rulers have done their best to annihilate us BUT WE SURVIVED. And now, take a look at Russia. There's Chechnya, there's hypocrytical Yeltsin and Putin, and there's their whole administration. Recent events make it clear that Russia is still bent on world conquest and imperialism. THEY ARE STILL AFTER US! Just look at the trades and discussions that have been going on between us and Russians--why THE HELL do they need our bombers? Yeltsin is the worst drunk in the world--is he ever sober? That country, if I may call it that, is an utter disaster which wants to drag us down when it collapses. And judging by all the discussions, it seems that many will just approve or STAND BY AND WATCH! Russia is the worst nuisance on this planet! We are our own culture, our own people. We have all of our own characteristics of culture. The Russians have their enormous land mass and they have no reason to make Ukrainian an official language; so why the hell do we need Russian as an official language? NOW IS THE TIME FOR UKRAINE AND ALL OF ITS CULTURE TO FLOURISH. MAKING RUSSIAN AN OFFICIAL LANGUAGE WILL ONLY HINDER ITS PROGRESS YET AGAIN. OPEN YOUR EYES AND STOP BEING IGNORANT TO THE FACTS, ALL OF YOU!!!
