yes, I've heard of Esperanto... and because of the dominace of the English language, i would say it is rather useless today... but... why do you argument only with the past... discuss the future!... yes, we must learn from history, in that case you are right!! ... but one important thing that we can learn from the past is we have to learn to forgive!!!... germany and france were foes for more than 100 years, until 1945... and we are friends today!... how would this be possible without forgiving!... if you declare ukrainian as the only official language, you cause many problems... declare both as official language, support ukrainian in school and make ukrainian as the only official language in.... maybe 30 years... so everybody has enough time to learn unkrainian and the elder people can speak russian.. maybe it is the only language they know...
