all the men kiss each other here, it's a token of esteem, acceptance, hospitality and greeting. This would be like a big handshake and a pat on the back back in the USA. To those who are curious, no I don't indulge in this custom, I prefer to shake hands.... So to answer your question, it's a "hey buddy" kiss let's make a deal.....
