You REALLY think that there are communists because of nostalgia for "good old days"? What about socialists?

I sorta thought that it was due to people being so unwilling to deal with and accept change that they would hold on to the familiar no matter what. Kinda like staying with an abusive spouse because leaving that person is too frightening. The familiar is better than fear of the unknown or being alone. Of ocurse, there are people for whom life was good in the "good old days" and who would greatly welcome its return. And the other small percentage who ideologically believe in it - even with its failures and problems which they discount as due to the failures on the part of those who implemented it, not the actual system.
