Ambience is the preferred usage, ambiance is an alternative usage. You got it backwards. Your spending too much time on video games and your reading comprehension and attention span are impaired. Check your dictionary nitwit. It's not a very long entry, so savor it. While you're using the dictionary, see if you can find "ambiant."
