Don't be ridiculous Mr. Ukrainian!!! What kinds of laws are Ukrainians capable to abide? With the heritage of Cossack ancestors who learned "civilized" robber methods from Pechenjegs, Pilovtsy and Mongols? How did those Ukrainian Cossacks on Zaporizhs'ka Sich created wealth? Not by robbery?! It is well known that the main efforts of Ukrainian authorities are focused to extract money as much as possible either from tourists or foreign investors by so called "legal means". Is it so difficult to have a limit for certain amount of money without a red tape for foreign tourists? Even if a tourist has only $50 that is not declared, the custom officers confiscate it. It is their income. If Ukraine wants to be a part of the civilized Europe than Ukrainians should very critically re-evaluate their Asiatic culture of "Guljaj Polje".

: It is unfortunate that you had such an unpleasant time during your short and abbreviated stay in Ukraine. But as you yourself pointed out you did not abide by the laws of the country which you were in and consequently your money was confiscated. Hopefully other visitors will benefit from your experience and realize that when travelling abroad one must respect the laws of that country.
